IBA, Zambales, Philippines — An official of the Population Commission (PopCom) office in this province and two other men reported missing on Saturday last week were found buried in a shallow grave in San Felipe town on Thursday.
The victims were identified as Norman Montevirgen, 64, PopCom-Zambales provincial officer; Darel Olipane, 18, and Gerald Laborce, 24.
According to a report received by the Zambales police, farmer Bobby Puso, 46, was pasturing his cows near Macolcol Bridge when his dog started digging.
Puso said he sought police assistance when he saw the body of a half-buried man.
Police said the faces of the victims were covered with packing tape while their hands were tied.
An investigation is ongoing.
