Woman shot dead in land dispute

MANILA, Philippines — A woman was killed while five others were injured after still unidentified assailants fired at a disputed lot in Bagumbong, Caloocan yesterday midnight.

Mohina Aluran died at the scene after still unidentified suspects shot at them, injuring Delmar Limbaga, Ricardo Mabborang, Cristina Aluran, and security guards Roberto Natan and Arnulfo Macayan.

Caloocan’s chief investigator Senior Inspector Felipe Fermin Jr. said police are looking into a land dispute as a motive for the killing. Police recovered 17 bullet casings at the crime scene.
