LIST: Class suspensions for June 13
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED 10:51 a.m.) — A number of local government units announced the suspension of classes in all levels on June 13, Wednesday, due to the bad weather caused by habagat, the southwest monsoon.
PAGASA weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said the southwest monsoon will continue to bring moderate to occasional and heavy rains some parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.
At 8 a.m., the state weather bureau issued orange rainfall warning over Cavite, where flooding is expected.
It also issued yellow rainfall warning over Metro Manila, Bataan, Zambales and Batangas which means that flooding is expected in low lying areas.
