Robertzon Ramirez - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) fined 41 motorists for traffic violations while two vehicles were towed in Quezon City yesterday.

Bong Nebrija, supervising operations officer of the MMDA, said they conducted a clearing operation along IBP Road after receiving complaints against motorists obstructing traffic in the area.

Nebrija said MMDA personnel cleared the highway of illegally parked vehicles and other traffic obstructions prior to the opening of classes.

“We received complaints about overloading, illegal parking and violations of loading ang unloading signs in the area,” he said.
