Brace for 3 to 4 days water interruption

Louise Maureen Simeon - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Customers of west zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. will experience low pressure to no water supply in the next three to four days, Maynilad said yesterday.

Maynilad customers were affected by an emergency service interruption following the significant drop in raw water allocations for its La Mesa treatment plants.

The water concessionaire is entitled to 60 percent of raw water allocations but it has been getting less, which reduced its stored water supply.

Maynilad said water tankers are on standby and ready to deliver water to the affected areas.

It serves the areas of Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas, Malabon, and portions of Manila, Quezon City, Makati and Cavite.
