MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Caloy (international name: Jelawat) has entered the Philippine area of responsibility Tuesday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
As of 8 a.m., "Caloy" was spotted at 1,025 kilometers east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.

It is expected to dump rains in the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao until Good Friday.
