2 vintage bombs found in Albay

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — Two  vintage bombs were unearthed  in Daraga, Albay yesterday.

Senior Inspector Malou Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said the explosives were recovered during an excavation for a commercial building being constructed at a transport terminal in Barangay Kimantong.

Calubaquib said bomb experts from Camp General Simeon Ola disposed the bombs.

Construction workers have been told to be cautious in their diggings as more vintage bombs could be hidden in the area.
