ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — An Abu Sayyaf bandit surrendered in Sulu while two were arrested in this city on Tuesday.
Jupakkal Usman, 50, a follower of slain Abu Sayyaf leader Alhabsy Misaya, turned over his M16 rifle and ammunition to the military in Omar town.
Puod Salvador Abdullah, alias Jeking, and a certain Kim were arrested in a motel near a police station in Barangay Sta. Maria. They were tagged in the kindapping of six members of the Jehovah’s Witness in Patikul on Aug. 22, 2002.
