MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.8 quake occurred at around 8:42 a.m. in Baguio, with its epicenter traced seven kilometers southeast of the city.
The tremor was felt at Intensity 4, which is classified as moderately strong.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) also recorded a magnitude 2.8 quake in Negros Oriental at about 2:42 a.m.
A tremor with a magnitude of 3.6 occurred at about 2:53 a.m. in Masbate, with its epicenter traced 17 kms southeast of Claveria. It was felt at Intensity 2 in Masbate City.
