P4 million worth of valuables, cash stolen in a Pasay hotel
MANILA, Philippines — Four unidentified men seized an estimated worth of P4 million of valuables and cash in a hotel in Pasay City, early Tuesday morning.
According to initial report of the Southern Police District, four males armed with short fire arms robbed Mabuhay Manor Hotel at around 3:10 a.m of January 2.
The .38 revolver of the guard on duty Jho-an Jabagat was also taken.
A family staying in the hotel was also robbed of P790,000 pesos or 15,800 US dollars, gadgets worth P350,000 or 30,000 USD and jewelry, including a luxury watch, amounting to almost P3 million or 59,950 USD.
After the robbery, the suspects boarded a black Hyundai Starex parked along Ortigas St., in front of the hotel.
The police are yet to determine the plate number of the vehicle used.
The case is currently under the investigation of the PNP.
