MANILA, Philippines — A burning car on Quezon Avenue northbound caused heavy traffic on Wednesday evening.

The incident occupied three lanes of the thoroughfare causing traffic buildup, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority told Philstar.com

Motorist Victor Villanueva who took a video of the incident said he passed by the area at around 6:50 p.m. He said the car on fire was on the northbound side of Quezon Avenue near the EDSA underpass.

At least two traffic enforcers were on site but they seemed to be having difficulty in extinguishing the fire, he added.
