Miriam College cancels classes, work due to bomb threat
MANILA, Philippines — The administration of Miriam College on Wednesday called of classes and works due to bomb scare.
In a statement, the school said it received a bomb threat through a text message prompting the cancellation of classes and work.
“While security staff promptly conducted an inspection of the campus and found nothing suspicious, school management deems it necessary to suspend classes and work in all units tomorrow October 18 (Wednesday),” Miriam College said.
The academic institution assured the members of its community including the students and its personnel that the police are undertaking thorough inspections in the campus to ensure their safety.

“Members of the community will be duly informed of their schedule of return to work/school,” it concluded.
