4 bodies found inside water tank in Batangas

BATANGAS — Four dead bodies were found inside a water tank in Lipa City Tuesday morning, police said

Batangas Police director Senior Superintendent Randy Peralta identified the victims as Jimuel Dimaculangan, Enrique Erolon, a certain Jasper and Jose.
 
Lipa police chief Superintendent Meliton Salvadora said the victims could have suffocated inside the tank while doing construction.
 
Salvadora said the bodies were discovered when a brother of one of the victims checked the water tank at Purok 4, Sitio Barandal, Barangay San Francisco at around 7:15 a.m.
 
The 30-feet wide and 3-meter deep rainwater storage tank has two manholes.
 
Members of the Scene of the Crime Operatives are also investigating the matter.
