'Fabian' exits PAR

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Fabian has left the Philippine area of responsibility, PAGASA announced Saturday.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, "Fabian" was located at 300 km west northwest of Basco, Batanes. In its 5 p.m. severe weather bulletin, PAGASA siad that it was the final warning for this weather disturbance unless it reenters PAR. It is forecast to move north-northwest at 30 kph.

The state weather bureau said "Fabian, which has slightly intensified and accelerated, brings an estimated moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall amount within its 150-km diameter. 

All tropical cyclone warning signals were now lifted.

At 4:00 p.m. Saturday, PAGASA said it is monitoring a low pressure area at 480 km east northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The LPA may bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over the regions of eastern Visayas, northern Mindanao, CARAGA and Davao.
