TUGUEGARAO , Philippines – Ten police chiefs in the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela have been replaced for failing to implement the anti-drug campaign in their jurisdictions.
Replaced last week were Senior Inspectors Raul Milan of Piat, Renante de Gracia of Amulong and Joel de Guzman of Pamplona, and Chief Inspectors Aileen Urani of Peñablanca and Danilo Abalos of Tuao, all in Cagayan.
Milan, De Gracia, De Guzman and Urani were replaced by Senior Inspectors Elpidio Zingapan, Manuel Viloria, Antonio Palattao and Joefferson Gannaban, respectively, and Abalos by Chief Inspector Raymond Asistores.
In Isabela, Chief Inspector Richard Babaran was named the new police chief of Sta. Maria and Senior Inspectors Arbie Chan as head of the Angadanan police, Rommel Consejo of San Isidro, Mariano Manalo of Palanan and Romeo Bermudez of Sto. Tomas.
The officials replaced Chief Inspector Noel Patalittan and Senior Inspectors Fernando Manangan, Vicente Ferior Jr., Freisel de la Cruz and William Agpalsa, respectively.
Cagayan Valley police director Chief Superintendent Robert Quenery said the replaced officials failed to implement Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded.
