Magnitude 4.9 earthquake jolts Surigao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.9 earthquake shook Surigao del Sur on Friday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
The center of the quake, which was tectonic in origin, was located in Bislig City at around 9:44 a.m.
Intensity IV was felt in Bislig City while Intensity II was reported in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
