13 arrested in drug stings
MANILA, Philippines - Thirteen suspected drug personalities were apprehended in separate operations in Metro Manila on Sunday.
In Quezon City, 10 people allegedly involved in drugs were arrested in stings.
They were Jeffrey Carson, 35; Romel Planco, 43; Ronald Arceo, 48; Leo de la Cruz, 34; Bonifacio Anib, 34; Richard Villacorta, 23; Christopher Gajo, 37; Rodel Patilano, 32; Lorenzo Ruiz, 29, and Joselito Fulgosino, 46.
The suspects were nabbed in Barangays Pinyahan and Apolonio Samson.
Three more drug suspects were collared in Caloocan, Malabon and Navotas.
Police identified the suspects as Elisa Rolda, Kevin Jallorina and Jeffrey Enzo.
They allegedly yielded shabu and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are being held by police on charges of violating Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
