MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-4.2 earthquake shook parts of Eastern Visayas yesterday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The quake occurred at 9:42 a.m. and was located 28 kilometers northeast of Catbalogan City in Samar.
It was felt at Intensity 4 in Catbalogan City and Intensity 3 in Pagsanghan town.
The quake was not expected to generate aftershocks, the agency said.
