Mild quakes hit Phl
MANILA, Philippines - Mild earthquakes hit parts of the country yesterday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
A magnitude 3.5 quake struck 37 kilometers northeast of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte at around 12:56 a.m. It was felt at Intensity 2 in Pasuquin.
In Surigao del Norte, a magnitude 3.4 quake struck 10 kms southwest of Libjo town. It was felt at Intensity 3 in Surigao City and San Francisco, Southern Leyte.
Quakes with magnitudes of 3.0 and 2.5 also struck Jabonga, Agusan del Norte and Dinagat island, respectively.
