3 drug suspects slain

MANILA, Philippines - Three suspected drug personalities were gunned down in Bulacan on Thursday.

Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat, Bulacan police acting director, identified the fatalities as a certain Edwa, a resident of Barangay Banga 2nd in Plaridel town, Apolinio Chavez of Barangay BB1 in San Jose Del Monte City and Rogelio del Monte Jr. of Barangay Batia in Bocaue.

 Initial investigation showed unidentified motorcycle-riding men fired at Edwa while he was walking in his barangay. Chavez was shot in an eatery along the road.

Unidentified men barged into Del Monte’s house and fired at him.

Caramat said the fatalities were known drug personalities in their respective barangays.
