Marikina justice hall gets bomb threat

MANILA, Philippines - The prosecutor’s office at the Marikina City Hall of Justice received a bomb threat yesterday afternoon.

The bomb threat was received by an employee at the fiscal’s office along McDonald Avenue in Barangay Sta. Elena before 4 p.m., according to Eastern Police District director Chief Superintendent Romulo Sapitula.

The justice hall building houses the offices of the Regional Trial Court, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology and the city police.

Members of the Special Reaction Unit of the Marikina police responded to the scene but found no bomb.
