KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines – Three Special Action Force (SAF) commandos died when their motorcycle collided with an ambulance in this city before dawn yesterday.

On the same day, a toddler and a woman died in a similar incident involving a bus and a truck in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

Police Officers 3 Andie Balungayan and James Bangayan and PO2 Arjay Cuibal died at the scene.

Ambulance driver Jofel Mangibunong was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

Reports said the SAF commandos came from a drinking session and were on their way to their headquarters at the North Cotabato capitol in Barangay Amas, Kidapawan City.

Meanwhile, one-year-old Alonica Razo of Taguig, and a woman whose name was not immediately available died, when their bus slammed into a truck in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
