Burglars loot cop’s house in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines - A police officer lost his service firearm and money to burglars who broke into his home in Caloocan City Sunday.

Police Officer 1 Marvin Adriano, detailed at the Guiguinto, Bulacan police station, reported that he discovered his house on Avocado street in Barangay 148 had been forcibly opened and his belongings ransacked when he got home at past 5 a.m. after visiting his parents.

He said he lost his 9mm Glock pistol and P19,000.

Probers said the burglary was caught by a closed-circuit television camera but they have yet to identify the perpetrators.
