2 dead in motorbike mishaps

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Two men died when their motorcycle collided with a van along the highway in Barangay Monte Alegre in Amulung, Cagayan on Wednesday night.?

Marvin Orpilla, 25, died while being treated at the Cagayan Valley Medical Center. His companion Jonathan Cardenas, 21, was thrown several meters away and died at the scene.

The van driver identified as Alfredo Ordoñez, 43, surrendered to responding policemen.
