CALUMPIT, Philippines – People waded through floodwaters yesterday to visit the tombs of their loved ones at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in this town.
The flood, which was due to rains brought by Typhoons Karen and Lawin, have not fully receded in Barangays San Jose and Santa Lucia.
Gerardo Belen, municipal disaster risk reduction and management officer, said a big part of the Calumpit Garden Memorial Park also remains muddy.
