99 kilos ‘hot’ meat seized in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – A man who tried to sell 99 kilos of “double dead” meat at a market in this city was arrested yesterday. 

Jojo de Guzman, a resident of Barangay Pogo Grande, tried to sell the meat at Centromart, said Dagupan City Mayor Belen Fernandez.

“He did not succeed because our meat inspector is monitoring even though it’s a holiday today,” said Fernandez.

She said De Guzman might be barred from the city market aside from being fined and charged.
