MANILA, Philippines - A man accused of raping a public school teacher was killed after he allegedly grabbed the gun of one of his police escorts in Caloocan City on Sunday night.
Pablo Dagsa, 36, who was in handcuffs, was shot dead when he allegedly took the firearm of Police Officer 1 Mark Anthony Motin in a police car on the way to the prosecutor’s office.
Motin’s colleagues – PO1 Donacio Merin and PO3 Steven Suase – were forced to shoot Dagsa, city police chief Senior Superintendent Johnson Almazan said.
Dagsa died from two gunshots to the body.
