MANILA, Philippines – The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Sunday declared that it will lift number coding scheme to ease traffic on All Soul’s Day.
The traffic authority said the unified vehicular volume reduction program in all cities and municipalities in Metro Manila will be lifted on October 31, Monday, and November 1, Tuesday in observance of the Philippine Holiday, All Soul’s Day.
Likewise, the local government unit of Makati City also suspended the number coding scheme for Monday and Tuesday.

The MMDA however, said the number coding scheme implantation will resume on November 2, Wednesday. It also announced that the No Window Hour Scheme will be implemented after the holidays.

Malacañang earlier declared October 31 and November 1 a special non-working day.
