Abu bomber nabbed

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – A suspected Abu Sayyaf bomber was arrested in this city yesterday. 

Amir Intong Salihin was collared near the Metropolitan Cathedral of Immaculate Conception church along Campaner street at around 7:50 a.m., said Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, city police spokersperson.

Galvez said Salihin yielded a caliber .45 pistol, a rifle grenade as well as ammunition.

Tactical interrogation bared that Salihin is a member of the group led by Isnilon Hapilon and tasked to procure bomb materials.
