TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A police intelligence officer was gunned down in Paoay, Ilocos Norte on Thursday.
Police Officer 3 Fernando Sacatrapos Jr., 41, was driving his motorcycle on his way to the police station after an anti-drug meeting with residents of Barangay Salpang when he was waylaid.
Chief Inspector Dexter Corpuz, Ilocos Norte police spokesman, said a task force was created to investigate the killing.
