Power outage to hit Nueva Ecija

MANILA, Philippines - Parts of Nueva Ecija will experience a 10-hour power interruption tomorrow, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) announced yesterday.

Ernest Lorenz Vidal, NGCP Central Luzon public affairs officer, said the 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. blackout would affect the areas being serviced by the Nueva Ecija II Electric Cooperative Inc. – Area 2.

The blackout will pave the way for maintenance work at the Cabanatuan substation and along the Cabanatuan-San Isidro line 1 transmission line.
