3 dead in Quezon, Isabela road mishaps

ATIMONAN, Quezon, Philippines –  Three persons died in separate road accidents here and in Isabela on Thursday.

A Mitsubishi Fuso trailer truck was on its way to Gumaca town when the driver lost control of the wheel along a diversion road in Barangay Malinao Ilaya at 6 p.m, said Senior Inspector Rizaldy Merene, Atimonan police chief.

The driver and passenger of the trailer truck were pinned in the vehicle and died at the scene.

Police are still waiting for the owner of the truck to identify the victims.

Meanwhile, a municipal employee died when a coaster owned by the provincial government hit his motorcycle in San Mateo town in Isabela.

 Mayo Valenzuela died while being treated in a hospital.
