2 dead in Pangasinan road mishaps

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan, Philippines – Two persons died in separate road accidents here and in Bani town on Wednesday.

Jerry Dapiawen, 32, was killed when the van he was driving collided with a passenger bus driven by Roland Galvez, 43, along the national highway in Barangay Alacan.

Dapiawen was pronounced dead on arrival at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City.

In Barangay Tiep in Bani, Elmer Calicdan, 63, died when he was thrown off his motorcycle as he was driving down the road. Calicdan’s passengers, Shaira Lyn Calicdan and Dan Castaneda, were brought to the Western Pangasinan District Hospital in Alaminos City.
