MANILA, Philippines - A 3.5-magnitude earthquake shook parts of Zambonga del Norte before dawn yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Vocanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake occurred at 5:19 a.m. with its epicenter located some two kilometers southeast of Dipolog City. It was felt at Intensity 2 in Dipolog and Intensity 1 in Dapitan.
Phivolcs said no damage or aftershocks were expected from the quake.
Quakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.9 to 3.4 also hit parts of Batangas and Davao Occidental yesterday.
