MANILA, Philippines – Earthquakes of magnitudes 3.5 and 3.4 hit Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Norte, respectively yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the quake that hit Agusan del Sur was felt at Intensity 2 in Bayugan town at 10:46 a.m. The epicenter of the quake was located at eight kilometers southeast of the town.
The quake that struck Surigao del Norte at 10:05 a.m. was located some two kms northeast of San Benito town.
