MANAOAG, Pangasinan, Philippines – A former police officer was shot dead in his store in Barangay Pugaro here by unidentified assailants on Thursday night.
Joselito Roux, 41, was rushed to the Manaoag Community Hospital and was later transferred to the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police said the assailants used an M14 rifle in killing Roux.
Probers have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
