MANILA, Philippines – A 50-year-old warehouseman from Batangas City has claimed the jackpot in the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s Dec. 23 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

The winner picked the six-digit winning combination 02-12-34-04-43-20, which had a total jackpot prize of P25.23 million, according to PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.

The winner, who is married and has six children, has been playing lotto since 1995.

He said he would invest part of his prize in a warehouse business and save the rest for his children’s future.

Meanwhile, the jackpot in the 6/55 Grand Lotto is expected to hit P100 million for today’s draw.

The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, while the 6/45 Mega Lotto is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
