MARAWI CITY, Philippines– Suspected militants killed two soldiers in a gun attack here on Tuesday.
The victims, who were members of the Army’s 65th Infantry Battalion, were in a vegetable and fruit stall when they were gunned down, according to local officials.
Their identities were withheld pending notification of their families.
A fruit vendor, who was hit by a stray bullet, was brought to the Amai Pakpak Hospital for treatment.
