MANILA, Philippines – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) enforced slight changes in the schedule of its Christmas Express bus service over the holidays.
The board announced on its official Twitter account that the bus service between SM Megamall and Park Square, Makati will be suspended starting Dec. 24, 2015 until Jan. 2, 2016. It will resume on Jan. 3, 2016.
The holiday nonstop buses from SM City North Edsa and Trinoma to Glorietta and Park Square on the other hand, will continue its operation during the entire holidays.

The Christmas bus service first operated on December 5.
Reports said it rolled out empty and had difficulty getting more passengers due to its fare.
On December 8, LTFRB Chair Winston Ginez announced the fare rate drop that helped in enticing passengers to give the Christmas bus service a try.
There are 20 Christmas premium point-to-point buses are situated in selected malls to provide commuters reliable service during the anticipated holiday traffic.
It encourages private car users to take public transport to lessen the traffic congestion.
