Cops nab foreigner, seize 5 kilos of shabu in Bel-Air

MANILA, Philippines  — Agents of the Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group, the Makati Anti-Drug Council and the Makati Police arrested a suspected big-time drug peddler in Barangay Bel-Air on Sunday night.

Agents also seized five kilos of shabu with a street value of at least P15 million in the buy-bust operation.

Police identified the arrested suspect as Xiao Min Chua alias Henry Ong, 45, a resident of Beijing, China and staying at 137, 5th Avenue, Caloocan City.

Xiao, said police, was nabbed during a sting operation by undercover police agents at the parking area of a convenience store on the corner of N. Garcia St. (Reposo) and Jupiter Street at about 9:35 p.m.

Also seized was Xiao's white Toyota Innova van with plate TQJ-783 and the marked P1.2-million marked cash used in the buy-bust.

Police said charges for illegal drug possession and sale would be slapped against Xiao before the Makati City Prosecutor's Office.
