MANILA, Philippines – A player from Marinduque won the jackpot in the Dec. 13 draw of the 6/49 Super Lotto, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
The still unidentified winner picked the six-digit winning combination 05-13-33-10-15-08, which had a total jackpot prize of P 212.5 million, according to PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.
Eighty-two other players won P 31,560 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.
It was the second time this year that a lotto bettor won more than P200 million.
On Oct. 30, a bettor from Malaybalay, Bukidnon won the P277.9-million jackpot in the 6/58 Ultra Lotto.
Rojas said the winner from Malaybalay has yet to claim his prize.
The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday and the 6/58 Ultra Lotto every Friday and Sunday.
The Ultra Lotto has minimum jackpot prize of P50 million.
