City dad found dead in SUV
MANILA, Philippines – A councilor of San Carlos City in Pangasinan was found dead with stab wounds in his vehicle parked along the road on Monday.
Police said Mienrado Ynzon, 60, was found in his Montero Sport (PN AFE 465) with the vehicle’s seatbelt tied around his neck at around 5:15 p.m.
The vehicle was parked in front of a church in Barangay Agdao, city police chief Superintendent Charlie Umayam said.
A certain Mark Joseph Rosario, 26, spotted Ynzon’s vehicle and decided to check it.
Rosario said he saw the victim in the driver’s seat with the seatbelt looped around his neck.
Reports said the victim was last seen leaving his home to attend a seminar at the city hall, where his constituents were waiting for him.
Investigators have yet to identify suspects and determine the motive for the killing.
