New Negros police execs assume post
BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) has activated the Police Regional Office (PRO)-18 for the newly created Negros Island Region (NIR).
The NIR is composed of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental, which used to be part of Region 6 or Western Visayas and Region 7 or Central Visayas, respectively.
PNP chief Director General Ricardo Marquez installed Chief Superintendent Conrad Capa as regional director of PRO-18 during ceremonies held at the Bacolod Pavilion Hotel on Monday.
Senior Superintendent Valrie Tabian was named deputy regional director for administration; Senior Superintendent Leonardo Cesneres, deputy regional director for operation, and Senior Superintendent Mariano Natuel, directorial staff.
