MANILA, Philippines — A lone bettor from Bulacan became the country's newest millionaire after bagging the P6.7 million pot in Saturday night's 6/42 lotto draw.
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, said the winner of draw at 9 p.m. placed the winning combination of 39-19-21-15-07-22 using a "standard bet."
Rojas said the lucky bettor placed his bet at a lotto outlet in Sapangpalay, San Jose Del Monte City.
Meanwhile, 26 winning bettors will share the P23,940 second prize.
Last month, a lucky bettor from Malaybalay City in Bukidnon joined the list of the country's millionaires after claiming the P277.9 million Ultra Lotto pot.
According to Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Assistant General Manager for Gaming Sector Conrado Zabella, it took 69 draws for the PCSO before the lucky the winner hit the biggest jackpot of the new Ultra Lotto 6/58.
