MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Institute of Vocanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Sunday reported a magnitude 4. 2 quake that affected Davao Occidental.
The earthquake occurred 9:51 a.m. and its epicenter was traced 194 kilometers (km) southeast of Sarangani, Davao Occidental.
The recorded tremor also has depth of focus of 27 kilometers.
In its advisory, there are no reported intensities, damage and they are not expecting any aftershocks.
Phivolcs said the earthquake was tectonic in origin.
