TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Police recovered two sacks of dried marijuana leaves left by two men they were pursuing in Sugpon, Ilocos Sur on Sunday.
Case investigator Senior Police Officer 2 Ronald Sabado said residents of Barangay Banga informed the police about the presence of two men carrying sacks in the village.
Sabado said the men fled, leaving behind the sacks when they saw police officers arriving in the area.
