DAVAO CITY – Authorities yesterday released a sketch of the suspect in the bombing of a passenger van here on Wednesday that wounded at least one person.
The suspect was described as between 35 to 40 years old, wearing a black jacket, denim pants and a black bull cap.
A task group headed by Davao City police director Senior Superintendent Vicente Danao was formed to investigate the bombing.
Tata Besanas, the van dispatcher, was wounded when he checked a bag that was left unattended after all its passengers had alighted.
Van driver Herman Daag told police the explosion occurred after the three remaining passengers had alighted. He said a male passenger alighted in front of the terminal while the other two got off inside the terminal.
