2 technicians held over sex videos, nude photos
KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – Two mobile phone technicians landed in jail after they allegedly sold sex videos and nude photos of a woman in T’boli, South Cotabato yesterday.
Rene Baylob, 30, and Renjie dela Cruz, 22, were arrested after the complainant sought the help of the police, according to Chief Inspector Jose Marie Simangan, town police chief.
The suspects were collared after they allegedly downloaded and transferred the videos and photos of the complainant to the mobile phone of an undercover agent.
Authorities recovered from the suspects the marked money used in the sting.
Police did not say how the suspects got the videos and photos.
Simangan said the suspects were charged with violation of the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.
