30 families affected in Quezon City fire

MANILA, Philippines – About 30 families were affected in the residential fire that broke out Monday morning on Commonwealth Avenue, Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City, according to reports.

The Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire that sparked from the second floor of a beerhouse at around 6 a.m. spread to 15 neighboring homes. It lasted for 30 minutes and reached the fourth alarm.

While there are no reported injuries, the estimated cost of damage amounted to P100,000.
