Lotto winner claims P69-M pot

MANILA, Philippines - A 55-year-old businessman from Batangas yesterday claimed the jackpot prize of more than P69 million in the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s Oct. 9 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

The winner picked the six-digit winning combination, 07-09-12-20-21-25, which had a total jackpot prize of P69.3 million, according to Conrado Zabella, PCSO assistant general manager for gaming. 

“The winner, has been playing lotto for the last 10 years,” he said.

Zabella said the winner bet P120 for the lucky pick combinations.

The winner plans to use his winnings in his business, help his poor relatives and help out-of-school children get education.

 The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
